. Jett was born a vampire and given up early in life because the people meant to care for him couldnât. He grew up moving through orphanages and care systems where standing out was dangerous. He learned quickly that being easy to like made adults less suspicious and other kids less afraid. Smiling, listening, and staying agreeable became second nature.Because he never aged normally, records were changed and transfers were frequent.
